open water triple crown

THE CHALLENGE

This years challenge is a 28.5 mile swim around Manhattan Island, New York via the East River, Harlem River, and Hudson River, swimming under its 20 bridges.

The challenge is final part of Open Water swimmings Triple Crown, a journey which started in 2007 with my first swim of the English Channel and resumed in 2019 ,prior to the pandemic ,with the Catalina Channel.

​The aim is to join the very few who have successfully achieved all three great swims. It will be a proud moment in a journey that has had many high moments
